Millions of blog are already out there and Thousands of blogs are being created daily on the internet and only few people make money from blogging while thousands of people still finding it difficult to make money from it. The reason why most people fail is because they aren’t focus and committed to blogging, in other words they're lazy. Frankly blogging and at the same time trying to earn money isn't easy, therefore it isn't for the lazy ones, so i'd advise you to first make up your mind on whether you're going to be serious.
Blogging can be seen as a job or something one does just for the fun of it, and you can be making a good amount of money with your blog daily. If you want to be successful in blogging, you need to allocate quality time daily to improve and work on your blog. Though blogging is sometimes easy, it requires a lot of hard work and commitment.
Ok, now that we have all that out of the way, let's talk about different ways that you can
make money with your blog. The main thing in common with all of the different strategies is that you're making money off your readers, so the more readers you have, the more money you should be able to make. Here are some different ideas to be considered:
1. Advertising
This is the easiest and common way through which most bloggers make money with their blogs. All you have to do to start
making money online with your blog through this means is to throw some ads onto your blog. These ads could be placed on the top or side or bottom of your blog depending on your choice.
There are many contextual advertising companies on the internet that will allow you to make money with them. What you will be required to do is to sign up for their publisher account and place their code on your blog so that you will be supplied with ads. Examples are:
googleadsense.com,
chitika.com,
adbrite.com,
bidvertiser.com and many others. You can make decent money from these sites once you have a blog. Most of them pay on
PPC &
PPM basis.
If you are not interested in partnering with those contextual advertising company, you can set your own price for advertiser to contact you directly instead of signing up a publisher account with contextual advertising company. But before anybody can advertise on your blog, you must have had a reasonable amount of traffic because i don't think there's anyone who'd like to do business with a blog that has little or no traffic.
You may be wondering how much you can make from advertisements. No one can give a confident answer about how much you can make with advertisements. To guess the amount you can make with advertisers like Google adsense, I'll advise you to check out
